I invited my nieces and nephews over to make ornaments (well, 1 ornament!) and Christmas cookies.  Ornaments turned out cute! Thank you Pinterest for the idea!

Look Whoo's One! Parker Everly Stinson

Wow, I just can't believe a year has gone by since my baby was born!  I have been thinking back on this day, one year ago, and it feels like yesterday!  I was so scared in the delivery room.  Mostly I was afraid they would drop me off the bed while giving me the epidural, but it was smooth sailing after that!

Our sweet Parker Everly was born at 1:52 p.m. on November 22, 2010.  I remember tearing up and crying as soon as they gave her to me.  Of course Troy did too (big baby)!  This has been the best year.

We celebrated her big day on Sunday, November 20, 2011.  Many of our friends and family were able to celebrate with us!  The theme was "Look Whoo's One!"  We had owls everywhere.  Mom found them everywhere she shopped!  The party turned out so cute.  Thank you to everyone who came to wish Parker well on her first birthday!

I got the idea for the tree stumps from Jenny Cookies!  Fantastic ideas!

My cousin, Andrea Underwood (Paytee Cakes), made the beautiful cake, smash cake, and cake pops!  They were all so cute and delicious!

Smash Cake!  I bought the sticker files from Lilypad Boutique and just printed them on Avery stickers.  It wasn't easy lining them up!  I also put the stickers on all the cups, but forgot to photo them.

These were the favors for the kiddos.  I found the template on Pinterest.  Yes, I handmade all of these!  They turned out cute!  Here's the template...just print the picture and use to size your felt.
Jessica Hughes Watson let me borrow all these precious owls from her daughter's party!  She made them form burlap and fabric.

Photo Booth Shots!

I can't get my blog to cooperate with how things are uploading...I'll work on it later!  Here's a slideshow:

Fun in the Fall!

Parker loves to get right in the dog's face! Yuck! Before I know it, they are licking her. While picking pecans, I bet I fished 10-20 out of her mouth (or on the way). She is scooting all over the place!

Stevie Wonder

Parker's gotten to where she loves to go back and forth, sometimes just her head, sometimes her shoulders too!  It's so cute!  She still won't let me get near those teeth to get a picture!

Is it just me, or does it take anyone else 20 minutes to change crib sheets? I have to untie all 16 ribbons on her bumper, then fight the mattress to get the pee pee sheets off and clean mattress pad/sheet on.
Parker's new favorite toy....sunglasses.

A Mouthful....

...of words and teeth!  Well, tooth!  During the Fourth of July weekend, Parker decided to talk a little and get one little tooth!  All in the same day!  I've been working with her relentlessly for over a month to say, "Mama."  Of course she would say, "Dadada," first.  Oh well.  It was really cute and sweet.  I do think I heard her try to say 'mama' yesterday, but instead it sounded like 'Obama.'  Not what I wanted to hear.

She's been drooling and gnawing on everything for over two months, and the little toofie made it's debut Sunday, July 3.  My mom noticed it first as Parker was gnawing on her finger.  I'll try to get a picture...she likes to keep her mouth shut when I try to get a look.

So much has changed in the last few months!  She's sitting up and LOVES to stand!  It's hard to get her to sit...she keeps those legs stiff so she can keep standing.  She loves Coco, just fascinated with her.

We went to the beach for the Fourth and had a great time.  This was the baby's third beach trip, but the first one where we actually stayed for more than 20 minutes.  Drew was also there, so Troy and I got to hang out with him and his friends for a bit on Saturday night.

Other things non-baby:
My cheerleaders did great at camp!  We won 2nd place in Home Pom.  However on the last night of camp, a TERRIBLE stomach bug hit the squad.  It started with Lindsey, then me around midnight, then three more the next day, also Laura Fuller (chaperone/mom), her son and daughter, then her cheer daughter, and many more on the squad!  I haven't been sick like that since I was a kid.  Needless to say, we had to change our performances on the last day for final evaluations...but those who were there fixed everything quickly and I was proud of them!  Lindsey Gibson and Jada Posey both made All-American!  Yay, Go Tigers!

Tristen is spending this week with Mom and Rodney.  He loves it there.  They are both going nonstop, and he likes that!

Troy is building us a carport.  He formed it up, roped it off, and they poured the concrete last week.  Now he just has to build the sides, storage, and roof, and TADA...I'll have a carport!

Next up, getting ready to go back to school :(  It's been so nice to be at home with Little Bit this summer...I'll miss her tremendously when school begins August 15!

P.E.S Update!

So...not much blogging going on lately!  Parker is growing like a little weed!  I just love her SO much!  She is really smiling a lot now and kicking around.  She laughs but no sound comes out.  Her dirty diapers have slowed down some...finally!  She's sleeping for one period of time at night--usually from about 10-3:30, eats, and back up around 5:30-6.  She has had some stomach problems, gas I guess, during the daytimes, but overall she's a good baby and doesn't cry a whole lot!

I'm still nursing her.  I hope I can keep it up until at least three months old.  I just pump at school to keep it going!  Nursing creates such a bond (not that formula babies don't bond with their moms).  I just love to stare at her while she nurses.  She's begun stopping, while nursing, to look up at me and give a sweet little grin.  I swear she's just saying, "I love you, Mama!"  And then she goes right back to it!

She went in yesterday for her two-month checkup.  She is now 24 1/4 inches long and weighs 12.3 pounds!  She was 20 inches and 6.135 at birth.  She has the fattest cheeks too.  Her baby acne is finally clearing up.  I'm so glad, although that is so minor compared to what some babies go through.  We are just happy and blessed to have a healthy baby.  Oh, the SHOTS were TERRIBLE!  She was having such a good time on the table at the doctor's office, smiling, kicking, looking around and then that mean, ole' nurse came in and stabbed her!  She had a shocked look for a split second and then screamed!  It was so hard to see her like that.  Thank goodness Troy was with us.  He didn't like it either.  But she was okay about 10 minutes afterward.

Love this little girl!

One Month Old!

Well, actually 5 1/2 weeks today!  But as of December 22 Parker was one month!  I just can't believe it.  These past five weeks have flown by!  I don't want her to get bigger!  She's such a sweet baby.  She hasn't been sick or even had a temperature!  I'm still breastfeeding and that's working out well.  The poor little girl has newborn acne.  Her sweet little face is broken-out all over.  However, that's minor and doc said will go away soon.  I'm extremely thankful for a healthy and happy baby!  I sure don't want to go back to work next week.  :(
